Marioenrico D’Angelo is a choreographer and performer based in Bern, Switzerland.
As a choreographer, Marioenrico created works for Saarländisches Staatsballett Saarbrücken (2022), V-Create Bern (2022), Frontier Danceland Singapore (2019), Think Big program by Ballet of the State Opera Hannover and TANZtheater International (2018), Equilibrio Dinamico Dance Company (2013), and cochoreographed with Marguerite Donlon the evening Medea for Theater für Niedersachsen Hildesheim (2021).
As a dancer, he performed in works by many choreographers, including Mauro Astolfi, Stijn Celis, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Jiri Kylian, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Anna Konjetzky, Marguerite Donlon, Estefania Miranda, Andonis Foniadakis, and Cathy Marston among others. Marioenrico took part in many international tours and galas, performing in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, the USA, Belarus, South Korea, and Thailand, dancing with Spellbound Contemporary Ballet (IT), Bern Ballet (CH), Saarländisches Staatstheater (DE), DaMotus! (CH), Donlon Dance Collective (DE), Seoul Arts Center (KR), and Joshua Monten Dance Company (CH).
In 2018, he was awarded the SponsorClub Prize of Saarländisches Staatstheater as Best Performer for his performance in Stijn Celis’s “Your Passion Is Pure Joy to Me”.
