Simone was born in Turin in 1993.

Education
He began his training in Italy and in 2009 he was admitted to the Academy of the Hamburg Ballet where he graduated in 2012.

Professional experience
In 2012 he participated in the Nijinsky Gala as a soloist in “Spring and Fall” by John Neumeier. In 2013 he was guest as Prince in “The Sleeping Beauty” by Mats Ek with the Ekodance Project of Pompea Santoro and afterwards he spends a season with the Dutch company Introdans. Since 2014 he is member of the Geneva Ballet and has already danced solo roles in “Matthaus Passion” by Pontus Lidberg and “The Nutcracker” by Jeroen Verbruggen, recently represented in the prestigious Aleksandrinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. In 2018 he opened the season of the company dancing the role of Mercutio in “Romeo and Juliet”by Joelle Bouvier at the Opera of Beijing. In March 2019, Simone Repele premiered the Masterpieces of the famous choreographer Jiri Kylian “Petite Mort” and “Bella Figura”. Simone also creates its own choreographic work such as “Suited Case” and “Histoire du Soldat” performed in several world Ballet Galas. In addition, the great choreographer Marco Goecke gave him the chance to perform his choreography “Firebird” and at the moment he is creating a new duet for Simone and Sasha which will be premiered soon. In 2020 Simone Repele starts working as an independent artist, for example takes part in the new creation with Metamorphosis Dance (Iratxe Ansa & Igor Bacovich) and as guest main dancer for “Nichts” by M.Goecke with EBB. Also in 2020, together with Sasha Riva they founded their own association “Riva & Repele danzarte”, investing in the creation of programs where they will dance with different artists, investing in the creation and representation of their works and other choreographers. For example, they choreographed and performed “Pulcinella”, a new creation on I. Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne commissioned to them by Daniele Cipriani Entertainment and the Pergolesi Spontini Foundation.

Awards
In 2018 Simone received the “Anfiteatro d’oro” award of the city of Avella from Francesco Imperatore for creativity and expressive originality.
In 2020 Simone got selected for the prestigious “Noverre Gesellschaft” evening, choreographing a piece for the Stuttgart Ballet.
