Dance Arts Faculty > News > DAF International Artists – Charlie Skuy

For the fourth appointment in the cycle of residential projects dedicated to the creations of the 25/26 season, we are hosting 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝘂𝘆, a young artist who has performed with the Netherlands Dance Theatre and is currently part of the Peeping Tom ensemble.
The choreographic residencies at DAF function as genuine cognitive laboratories, where dance is not merely a physical practice but a field of investigation — a tool for observation and the construction of thought. The creative process becomes a system of research capable of generating original mechanisms and authentic dialogues between artist and dancers. Each season unfolds as an experiment in perception, a network of intersecting trajectories where dance takes on the role of a cognitive language, resonating with the deepest currents of contemporary culture.
