WHERE WE ARE
DAF is located at the former Lanificio Luciani in via di Pietralata 159/A in Rome, a practical example of urban regeneration reusing underutilized or abandoned buildings. In fact, the former Luciani has been converted from a factory into a multi functional space open to the public, hosting various artistic and cultural activities which have made it possible to revitalize neighborhoods.
Thanks to the presence of the DAF, the space is now a place for artistic research and creative investigation, with a coherent and plural artistic vision.
The spaces extend for over 1200 square meters at the first level of the building where the DAF has 6 dance studios, 1 performance space, 2 music and recording studios, a large recreation space, offices, a meeting room and spaces for disabled facilities.
The space has a beautiful view that allows access to a bright, welcoming and comfortable area capable of satisfying the many needs of the students, staff and audience as a place open to global artistic fruition.
Different projects coexist in the building and students, teachers and guests can access to a room equipped for live events and performances (Lanificio 159), a restaurant (Lanificio Cucina) and a large exhibition spaces for expositions and installations.
