ZONE D – The dance intensive

Zone D is a training offer and an educational experience of excellence that puts together many quality contents in a few days with artists who have somehow revealed and demonstrated a particular interest in what is the real mission of all the projects hosted by the DAF. Once again, it’s important for us to guarantee and facilitate the access to students who are truly interested in deepening and exploring new currents, new performing vocabularies for an artistic growth that can make a difference over time.

Schedule:
• over 𝟖𝟎 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 with international artists;
• a 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚 of dance creations by the Directors and choreographers of the hosted schools;
• a 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 of some of the best soloists for the second edition of the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, the only event in Italy in partnership with the “International Solo Dance Theater Stuttgart”;
• “𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨” two exclusive focus on the choreographic work of two international artists (excluded from the open card);
• a special meeting with 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙞 (on January 7th), Étoile who was the Former Director of the dance school of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and a repertoire class with a focus on the technique and the style of a 𝙂𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 variation. Laura Comi will transmit her experience gained through the interpretation of the role with various partners, talking with the students and showing videos (excluded from the open card);
• at the end of the week, a moment will be dedicated to the information about the Liceo Coreutico DAF, a high school that expands the boundaries of the DAF educational projects and offers to the students a solid higher education, aimed at the technical-practical study of dance and its role in history and culture.
